- Measures 1.5-2 inches long
- Range is throughout the eastern United States
- Treefrogs are able to change their skin color based on time of day, air temperature, and background. Color ranges from gray to green with black splotches. Each toe has a suction-like cup at the tip.
- Habitat includes moist wooded areas and yards in close proximity to freshwater wetlands. Overwinter habitat includes leaves, bark, and rotten logs.
